Hardwiring camera

Guys,

I have a front-facing camera installed in my 135i, which is hardwired to the car so it turns on/off with the ignition, and the lead is hidden behind the dash. The camera comes with a normal 12v cigarette-lighter lead, and I then bought a 12v female socket to plug this into, with wires coming off the back that you use to connect it to the car.

Does anyone know if this is exactly the same in the F30? Thanks...
