Did I just make a big mistake?

Got rid of my 2007 335 e92 and got a 2012 328 f30...

The engine/exhaust sound is really difficult to get used to. The 335 felt so effortless in its acceleration.

The n20 pulls, but it feels like it's straining...

The steering feels less visceral too, I don't know why.

Haven't really put the n20 through it's paces yet, since I want to break it in, but I miss my n54 so far...

I guess I will give it time.

big mistake, u shouldn't down size your engine ever...once you've tried D cup breast, you will never like the feeling of B cup tits...even she is a bit fresher.

even you give her time, she won't get any bigger...you need to pay for her implants,
then her make up, then her shoes.... everything adds up, you better sell it now and buy
another 335i or upgrade to E cup, the///M3.

I had a 2011 E92 335i and test drove a F30 328i and 335i and ended up with the F30 335i for the reasons you stated. I think it would be hard to go with the N20 after having owned a 335i. Had I never owned the previous 335i, I suspect I would have been more accepting of the N20/328i.

I agree the steering, while direct and accurate, is very low effort and takes some getting used to. I will say now with 1300 miles on the steering bothers me less than it did.

My friend...

My first contact with BMW was on the Compact 318i in Brazil when my cousin bought a bran new one , I was 16 years old and that car on red was just a dream, very strong at the time...
Then my ex-wife had a 2005 325xi, also on my point of view at the time, very very strong.
After few years I was able to buy a 2006 CPO 325i with low miles and sport package, back then the car was not just strong it was also nice to drive and very very sporty.
Then i had a Lexus IS250 which I hated, very week and the suspension was too soft, end-up buying a 2007 335i, man what a car... the best I ever had...

I cannot imagine myself downgrading to a 318i, 325xi or a IS250 anymore... the power of that car is addictive, and nothing sounds like the new 2012 335i...

So, expend the extra $$$, get the 335i like I will when the xDrive comes available and live happy after...

If you get use to make 100K + a year would you be able to slow down on your work and make 50K instead? Easier job but you would miss that 100K too much.

Get the 335i!

This has got to be the BEST analogy EVER! Even better than the one liners of one of our most esteemed members on Bimmerpost, justinnum1!

Yeah...I'm hoping with some mods I can juice up the n20 to more like what I had in the 335...

Implants indeed.

I almost did the same mistake...I glad I went with the 335i though. Downgrading engines is a big NO NO.
