Beginner Wash, clay, polish, wax kit

Hi guys,

New f34 owner who has only ever washed my previous cars. I purchased an m-sport model, ebii, and want to learn how to clay, polish, and wax also.

Can you provide any starter packs which would help me give me all the items I need to start?

Can't go wrong with CarPro products.

Meguiars and Chemical Guys have some inexpensive products as well.

Here's 2 good videos on how to properly wash your car and a detailing series.

Suggest checking out AMMO NYC on YouTube. He's the premier car detailer channel and is one of the best (IMO). He does go pretty deep into certain topics and the videos can be a tad long sometimes, but I think he's the best example to try and emulate as much as you can. Here's a video to start you off with techniques and tools:

I just ordered his AMMO Frothe kit, because I live in an apartment building and don't have easy access to wash my car (I usually have to drive to a relatives if I want to do a full wash/detail) and I'm super excited for it to arrive.

Edit: didn't realize it when I posted but Louie beat me to it! +1 for AMMO videos!

I just bought a buffer and meguiars products from a local Autozone and it's good for amateurs like myself. It still takes a while to do everything but much easier than doing it by hand. Just buy a random orbital, claybar, liquid polish and liquid sealant. I started ordering materials from Adam's polishes and I think it's a better product overall but not necessary to get nice results.

I personally think Meguires is the best maker of car care products and they also have a real good "how to" section on their site.

Congrats on your new car.
