Tampa Bay Dealer?
I just bought a CPO 335i, and to find the options I wanted I ended up buying one out of a dealer in Atlanta.
So I'll need to pick a BMW dealer in the Tampa Area to do any (hopefully not much) warranty repairs. I live off of 301 in Thonotosassa, and the website show four dealers within 30 Miles: Reeves Fields Ferman Bert Smith I could realistically go to any of these. So which dealership in the Tampa area has best service and is least likely to mess me over? I'll be doing services at the dealer for at least the rest of the warranty, and don't mind spending a little money to build a relationship, but don't want to just throw cash at folks that are tools. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Any of the top 3. Bert Smith is a tiny shit hole in the wall in comparison. Reeves is nice because they have Porsche and audi and they get exotics on trade you can drool over.

Can give you negative experiences with any of the 4. Bert Smith has always given me the best prices on things other than service, but their hourly rate is higher than Ferman.
Can tell you for the collision shop, Bert Smith is the only one I would use, regardless of them being "a tiny shithole". For normal warranty work, Reeves or Fields will be your most convenient option. |

Reeves for warranty, can't really say I'd go there for sales. Got "sized up" when I walked in a few years ago when I wanted to get my first BMW. Older guy outright said to come back when I could afford one or go to the pre-owned lot and they might have something more in my 'price range'.
Left and went down to BMW of Sarasota two days later. Left with my first BMW at about 11pm (yea, they stayed 3 hours after closing to help me). On my 2nd car from BMW of Sarasota right now, never had a bad experience there for service or sales. |
