You love BMWs, but you want to buy an Infinity?

Good catch. I should've been more specific. I just want to see where people stood now.

BMW all the way, the G is so outdated, it should have been updated this year!

cmon do you really have to ask? I would still get the 4 cylinder turbo model
over the g37. It supposed to pack quite a punch.

I agree. They had a good competition for BMW but they should've updated her.

Which ever one you enjoy driving more. Forget about brand perceptions - thats just not worth worrying about.

Ok, I think I have to clarify this post, since I wasn't specific before.

I will not buy the current G37 as is, too bland. Nice, but not as nice as the new 3-series, IMO. My thought was, considering all of the comments, good and bad, what was the score concerning the rivalry.

I believe the G37 was a wonderful option to the 3-series. Just a few improvements (mileage, interior flow, height of car) and I thought BMW would have some competition. Now, with the 3-series earning her freshman 15 and with a little extra bling, what did people think?

I drive the G37. It's a good car overall but lack of low-end torque.

For the price Infiniti is the best bang for the buck but I will get the F30 for my next car when my lease is up.

I like the Nissan G37 / Infinity. Mainly the ones I've seen while in Japan. Unfortunately Nissan/Infinity don't bring the G37 cars to Australia, otherwise I'd definitely check them out.
