Tools required;

I really appreciate you posting this video. With the warranty soon to be up on my 2012 F30 335i this will come in handy soon.

One question; how does one reset the maintenance interval in the iDrive?

Thanks.

Nice job, thank you. Might recommend you add Torque values to your video since you definitely were using one to tighten the filter cap and drain plug. Adding these values to the video will make it stand on its own for years to come as a helpful DIY.

Can't you just hold the odo reset button and get into the menu to reset the service stuff? I did it on my family's other cars and the Idrive service history was able to be reset

I believe you can. I was just putting screenshots on how to do it via ISTA/D Rheingold.

What happened to the video?
I'm looking at getting an oil change in between service Intervals and the local shop is charging $160 cad (approx $125 usd) . I'm not sure if that price is in the right ball park, but regardless I'd love to learn to do it myself. I have the garage space and most the tools. Just need a few additional items.

Btw, can I use jack stands on the front instead of ramps? Assuming that's not a problem.
