I would get tired of a red interior in the long run, too bright. Blue/blk is nice.

Excited this link is working. Still not sure what BMW's deal is about paint colors... are M-Sport and Jet Black/Mediterranean Blue just so horribly incompatible?

On a side note, the configurator for the new X1 looks to be working too

Hate to say it, but despite the FWD based platform and all, I am really intrigued by the car.

The new color choices for interior and exterior look pretty awesome and it is MUCH cheaper than F31 wagon when comparing similar options

Yeah, that was on there before.
I too thought how great that would be, but no, it's not free.

I checked with my SA and on the actual BMW order black dakota leather was not a free/no cost option. It was the same price as the other dakota leathers.

I really hope he told me the truth cause I'd hate to find out later that for whatever wacky reason BMW added black dakota for free.
If it were free, then I would get that and save.
As it is I wanted the red leather so I paid.
If I didn't want red leather, then I was going to go with black sensatec as I really like that material.

I also asked my CA about the Basic Black DL being a no cost option but he too said there is a charge. I did a little more research and the Basic Black DL isnt even an option on the 340 order guide. It's only available in black with oyster highlight or something like that, which is a $1450 leather option on the the demo site. So yes its probably a bug that has been still over looked on the demo sites.
