Golf tee mod

Is this mod possible on the f30s


I had this mod on my e90 ?

Cuz I noticed today at cold start only one side was sounding the other side seemed like it was closed

Yes it is. Just go to the DIY section. It's not as easy with the F30 though. I noticed no true improvement in sound, compared to my e90 that did have the mod, so I reversed it.

It really does nothing and in sport or sport + the flap is open anyway. Having said that, I still have the golf tee mode in place because I can't figure out how to get the spring back in.

I tried to put it back, and its like stuck, I can't fully push the clip in.
I still find on comfort, there's some deep low rpm sound coming out.

I pulled the spring between the solenoid and flapper and then did one wrap of baling wire around the pipe and that lined up with keeping the flapper open. Five minute fix.
