Wow man, love the interior. The Performance parts really transform it

*Edit: What's that thing in your driver's seatbelt?

Thanks! Its just a thing I ordered that sticks in the seat-belt to shut the alarm off. I don't wear a seat-belt all the time so when I don't, having that in there keeps the seat belt alarm from going off. I have one for the passenger too. Good ol' NH live free or die no seat-belt laws...

I have a 2013 328 xi and am considering the kW v1 setup. I have the stock baseline wheels and tires but definitely want stiffer suspension. I am not all about going flush or as low as possible. I would go lower than stock but only by an inch or inch and a half. I purchased the kW v1 setup for 2011 Audi a4 before and even with the coilover all the way up ( tallest height) the ride was too low. Is that the same case for the Xdrive on the bmw? Anybody try to have it at the highest possible level?

No but KW provides a recommended range for these coilovers and mine is within that range. My car is aggressive but by no means slammed and could go higher if that helps you at all

Great job on this, your car is sweet ! How much higher could the car go - front and rear? THe reason I ask is that in Canada, we get lots of snow, bad roads and just curbs. I don't think it will go up much right?

Second question, how much will it settle? And has it ?

Just really nice man...

OMG this is perfect. I just took pictures of my stock 435 with my snows on, and it almost made me sick. I have to do this mod. I have engine mods on order...

I had H&Rs on order to put on... and I was hesitating. I am so glad I read this post, you saved me a bunch. It was the "my wife won't drive the car", or go in it... That is a disaster for me.

I need some feed back on handling. I am going to get some new rims and Michelin PS4S tires - non run flat. SIzing: 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Any from VMR say would have great offsets and would look great I figure. Is this sizing on an xDrive going to do it with the K/W V1's? Do you need camber plates?

Do you experience under steering like we get in stock? Is it a joy on the on ramps? Does it push at all?

Thanks - subscribed.

My set up with the KW V1 coilover have no camber plate
Im on BBS 19'
19x8.5 offset 35
19x9.5 offset 9.5
225/40
255/35
I played it safe and stood with the BMW recommend tire size since mine is a xdrive also
No rubbing at all and I'm pretty low. Juust keep in mind that you have to be extra careful with drive in, speed bump, pot holes ect..ect.. but in time you get use to it and start driving like it's at reg height
here is a side shot so you have a better idea than the first photo I posted above

yes, they can, you can go up 2' may be more the beauty of coil overs is that you can adjust them to the height you desire. I leave them at this height all year around and I live in NJ where winter can be not so nice. the only thing I do for the winter months is swap wheels and remove my front lip.

Here is how she looks in the winter, stock 18' wheels make it look lower.

Looks great even with the stockers

Do you have wheel spacers on?

Is this the highest setting?

Thanks

Man, I keep coming back to this pic... really nice with the gunmetal rims. the gap is perfect.

I have the KW Street comforts coming in April, with the M4 Reps with PSS 4S 245/35 and 275/30s.

Question, how is the handling now? does it push still with the new non RFT rubber and Coilovers? I would assume it does push (understeer) still, but the limit should be much much higher.

Does the car rotate? in corners and does it feel much better than stock?

Looks really great !
