Thanks Guy for getting this arranged. I think I will consider this carefully.

Guy, didnt you mention there were extra's that we need to budget for such as stretch bolts? Do we need to buy them up front too? Anything else?
Ta.

Just been to BMW (Cooper Norwich) and they confirmed that suspension upgrades from ACS do not affect warranty
Now all i need to figure out is how much this would lower the front of my car, as I have the M Performance Parts the front splitter is low and i have an annoying speed hump to get into my estate, I reckon i have about 1.5cm clearance just before the front wheels hit and lift it :-\

Correct me if you're wrong but you don't have the M Perf front splitter but what you might be able to measure is the front bumper close to the wheel at the bottom? That should be the stock part i guess?

It varies from dealer to dealer. Some have taken the decision to only fit BMW parts (and push BMW M Performance parts). In your area Peter Vardy BMW and Eastern would probably say no, but Menzies in Stirling and Douglas Park BMW would definitely fit these for you.
If anyone needs an ACS recommended fitting centre just look on our website or give me a call |

Wife has just called me from my car she stole about half an hour ago to tell me much she prefers it now! 'Bit bumpier in town but way way better when pushing on'. So there you go - verdict no.2 - wife approves

sDrive adaptive cars are pretty near perfect with 18" mixed wheels IMO. Therefore I don't see why one should consider this.

Sorry, I never came back on this. Spoke to Rob (M Technician at dealer) and he said he replaced all the bolts as that is what is what would be done at the factory.
Now it may well be that this is overkill BUT I am very keen to do things absolutely by the book according the BMW so IF anything did happen, I'm completely covered. It worked out about £100 in bits. Do they have to be replaced? I would suspect not if Lorcan is not including them in his figures. Might be worth giving him a call and finding out. Over 1k miles with springs on now and just so happy with the car. Would be really interested to go in a standard car again now to see the difference.

I'd be happy to do a back to back test with you if you'd like. I'm fairly interested in getting the springs following your rather positive time with them so far.
