I've got my belt and tensioner ready to go in when I see a sign it needs it. Other than that, I'd say to just monitor things. That said, therm and water pump are always good things to replace...though kind of pricey in the b58...not sure how long they last.

I'd also say that picking low hanging fruit when you need to be somewhere anywhere can save you some time...but I'd hold on anything unless you see an issue or know of a well-known issue. Forum people can sometimes make you panic about things. The e46 community went through many 'panics'--some valid, but many not so much.

Also, you'll build it back to perfect and some #$%$ in a stupid #$% (meaning Audi) will be a jerk and total your car.

None of what you plan is a bad idea, but don't treat 100,000 as a special number--the maintenance schedule for the car is pretty reliable, other than for our 'lifetime' fluids.

After all the above mentioned parts are replaced, your vehicle will be good for another 100K miles.

Congratulations on reaching a milestone most owners of leased vehicles will never see.

That’s my goal, to reach another 100k on it. Why spend $60k on a brand new bmw when the one I got still runs perfectly and looks good.

I don’t believe in leasing/renting.... I always buy my nice cars used in excellent condition, with no accidents, and after they depreciate. My car is fully loaded with the Harmon Kardon sound system, heads up display, etc.. It was once a $52k car.

I really want a M340i, but I have to wait until it depreciates too

Oil pan gasket?
Our 89,000 mile 2015 N55 is starting to seep a little bit towards the rear. Actually suprised ours hasn't gotten worse.

If you're being this comprehensive I'd go ahead and swap the oil pan gasket.

I was too nervous to replace the AT fluid at 100K; so I've rolled the dice. 🤷🏻*♂️

I have no interest in reaching 100k miles. I like new cars. I think I came close once.

The oil pan gasket was already replaced at the dealer by the previous owner.

AT fluid wasn't terribly expensive at my Indy. I'd personally prioritize that over some of the other items that you've mentioned
