So yesterday my other half ordered one of these bad boys!

And not to be outdone I ordered one of these today! (Mines the 335d!)

Edit: forgot to add my spec. I know how much you guys like to know!

Quite a basic one for a change.. M Sport Plus pack and heated seats and that's it! Same spec as my 320d but a tad more go from the engine! It's only one a 12 month contract so happy to keep it basic.
Sapphire black and coral red leather.

The race is on, which one will arrive first?...

Have you gone for a similarly spec'd XC90? That looks really smart...

Volvo make decent and very comfortable cars with stylish interiors. I miss my 2004 Volvo's seats, so comfortable. BMW seats are a poor relation, at least in manual adjustment guise.

It would be interesting if they had the engines to compete directly with Audi...

I was about to post how good the XC90 looks too Would be great to hear your thoughts on it in the future. I really like them and thought the showroom appeal was massive when I looked at one. We didn't test drive as it was always a car that was more likely to fit the budget in a year or two rather than now.

Congrats on the 335d too, very nice and interesting to see one with the spec held down - definitely the right choice on a 12 month contract.

Good times in your household with those two incoming

I'd quite like an XC90 next.

What sort of deal did you get in the end? When they first came out they were selling at list, now I see around 10% off appearing.

My 335d is due in November and the XC90 is due in December. Good job we didn't want a hybrid as that would be August 2017!

Spec in the XC90 is pretty comprehensive anyway so didn't need to add much, sunroof, surround view cameras and a few other small items. Mind you, the blue paint is a grand!!!!

We crossed shopped with a F Pace, Discovery Sport and a X5. We liked the F Pace from the outside, inside we felt the XC90 was of much better quality. Liked the Discovery Sport and that would have been next choice. Liked the X5 and my partner really wanted one but its 200-300 a month more for the X5 3.0d M Sport specced up to a similar level. And I know it's comparing a 3.0d six cylinder with a 2.0d four cylinder but we felt it was too much.

I'm not sure about the discount percentage, it was all about the monthlies and getting the cost to fit my partners car allowance. We're paying 600 a month, with 6 down for 48 months and 15k per year.

That's for the basic D5 R Design with sunroof and surround cameras (2k) bursting blue metallic paint (1k) and a few other bits and pieces.

That was with our local dealer who beat the Car Wow price we had.
