wtf! No side marker on the front fenders?!

I like the design and the interior def look like a huge step up in design and quality but I HATE the fact that they moved the side blinker from the fender to the mirror. Now, that part just looks like an Audi. From the released pixs, it looks like where they used to have the side blinker, they've now replaced it with a badge to designate which model line it is. ie. sport, luxury, or modern.

Both would be too much, and the industry seems to be moving towards having it integrated in the side mirrors.

I've always thought the move of many manufacturers to place the side blinker on the mirror makes sense. It's more visible to oncoming traffic at most angles and does not get washed out by the headlights like signals integrated into the front light assembly. Safety first these days.

I'm thinking the opposite. There's already a blinker on the rear of the car and the front of the car so for oncoming traffic, they'll see the blinker from the front of the car. The side blinker is actually safer because it allows a car that's right next to you to see your intention of changing lanes (such as on the freeway), especially in your blind spot where they won't necessarily be able to see your rear blinker and def won't be able to see the blinker on the mirror housing as it's facing the front fo the car.

It's unfortunate that the side marker has been replaced with a silly badge that shows the trim line.

trim badge

If there are no holes where that badge is placed on the fender I would be removing it first chance I get. That badge looks soooooo cheap and soooooo unnecessary.
