Which Colour Wheel Air Vent (Boomerang) do you Prefer on the 4 Series?
Which Wheel Air Vent (Boomerang) do you Prefer:
1. Matte Black 2. Gloss Black 3. Matte Silver 4. Chrome 5. Body Coloured I went with Gloss black, because of contrasting, and future planned upgrades.

Color matched. Only time I think black *may* look good is if you black out the roof, kidney grills, front lip, add the CF rear spoiler, and the rear diffuser.
Unless your whole car is black/charcoal/grey anyway. In which case, black or color match is good. |

I know it's only 5 votes so far, but I'm shocked the Gloss Black leads body color. I don't know why anyone would want to draw attention to that thing, but the vent itself looks good when it's all a subtle vent, body colored. To each their own of course, but I thought most people preferred it not stand out… guess we'll see as more people vote.

The reason I chose Gloss Black was that I thought it lent a good contrast, because it was one of the things separating it from the 3er, but also deciding to do the Roof, Grill, Spoiler, and Wheels Black in the Future.

honestly i think it depends on the body color. I could see black being a nice color on a silver car...but not on Estoril.

Yeah think it ultimately depends on the body colour if your colour coding the blades. Personally I prefer the gloss black ones but would always have black kidney grills too!

Mine are gloss black (on mineral grey) but would have preferred matte black.
Carbon (either matte or gloss) would also have been cool imo they look a bit tacky in body colour - the feature draws a lot of attention and since the seam between vent and body panel is very visible, it doesn't seem to work in my eyes. I had the same problem when speccing a Porsche Macan, the side blades in body colour looked really wrong as there were a lot of visually unnecessary seams. |

Iceberg4 , I'd be really interested in knowing where you're getting your CF Gills from? I ordered a set off ebay and they were junk (male ends on back were broken, CF looked horrible). |

On the coupe version: black.
On the gran coupe version: body colored. At first I wanted a black "boomerang" on my alpine white, but now I'm VERY glad its color matched to make it look integrated and not "slapped on", especially in sedan form. It makes the body look longer and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. |

How about a delete option - the thing is hideous no matter what color it is....it's the wrong size/scale for it's placement....
