How come the car only spends a day in the Paint shop? I call every day, and today they told me the car was in the paint shop, and the estimated completion date is tomorrow. I would think that painting 6+ coats and buffing would take way more than a day. I get the feeling that they aren't gonna wet sand it to get rid of the orange peel and I'm gonna have to do that myself. My X5M was done, but my 750 wasn't, so maybe they just do M cars.

My car is going almost directly to Detailer's Domain for just this reason. Even if they did get rid of the orange peel, there's plenty of other junk that ends up on these cars as they are in transit.

I closed a deal on a 2015 BSM 335i M-Sport w/ xDrive and I inquired about port installed options. I wanted the MPE and the MPPK. I was able to easily add the MPE but I got an email stating that the MPPK is no longer available for port installation. Also, you cannot get the MPPK w/o having M sport brakes. Glad I checked that box when I ordered! Now I'm trying to see if the dealer will install it....Hopefully it won't be too much more $$...... Thoughts? Timeline below:

11-4-14 Production # received
11-7-14 Production begins
11-15-14 Body Shop
11-17-14 Production Complete
11-19-14 Transported to port of Exit
11-20-14 Released to a carrier

I was actually on the Elektra, sorry about that. I would add 5 days or so to the Faust timeline.

My car actually arrived at the dealer early and is ready today. I'm headed over this afternoon to pick it up. Black grilles are being installed and the car is being debadged now (makes the car look so much more balanced and clean, and its easier to wash). Woo hoo!!

I ordered my 335 xDrive on the 14th of November and I was also told I could not have the MPPK installed at the port. Funny because I had it installed in my 435 when it was delivered to me in March....

Same here. Dealer said they could install it, but would have to charge me labor. I passed. Only reason I wanted it for for the renumbered Horsepower gauge in the iDrive anyway. I can make my own power.

TORINO has been pushed back 2 days. New ETA in NY/NJ is 12/13.

I knew something wasn't right last night when the captain missed the turn into Southampton, had to swing back around, then I got an email that it arrived at Fawley, then left 2 minutes later, and finally got to Southampton 3.5 hours late. Its leaving Southampton a day late too. The captain must be a drunk or on drugs or something.
