Cv joint/ Rearend help
Hey guys,
After tuning for a stage 2 turbo and lowering my 435i I have been having a little trouble with CV joints. I blew my original and replaced it with 2 (low quality) aftermarket axles before going back to oem. Now I'm looking for a solution that can withstand the new torque levels/ potentially skewed angles I recently installed the bms diff mount which has helped with stability but still worried about increasing torque in lower gears. In addition to stronger CV joints, I am also looking for a good limited ATB limited slip solution. I have an M4 rearend I purchased and am trying to figure out if I should try to use that setup and drop in a wavetrac or if I should go through the process on the original equipment. It looks like installing a atb in the m4 doesn't require milling and drilling like on the f30. Diffs online want like 4k for a wavetrac and I would still need uprated axles. My m4 rearend looks to have everything between the brake shields. Let me know what you guys think. Does anyone have experience with thr m4 rearend and subframe swap? |
