I tried using the Air Conditioning on Auto function. It still stays on, but now the Max AC button does not work and the AC button is flashing
I restored it back, but no changes. Any ideas? |

Sorry, I meant to update this earlier. Spoke to both the developer and fellow forum member. My problem was that I did not wait for the initialization process. It's all good now!

Glad I found this thread. I was reading through the very long one on the F87 forum and a lot of stuff didn't apply to my F34. My iCar2 is coming today.
Seems like this is worth the money solely for just disabling the initial power on disclaimer screen, enabling power folding mirrors with comfort access lock, and turning off the radio when the doors open. This is my first BMW and I've only owned it for about half a year. Admittedly I don't know a ton about the cars. What is the deal with people increasing the angel eyes brightness setting to 100%? It seems they operate at 100% with DRL but significantly dim with the headlights on. Isn't this designed intentionally? I feel like increasing the brightness could interfere with how your headlights are designed to work, or am I just completely wrong on that? I'd also be worried about dazzling other drivers. |

I definitely plan on trying it. I wasn't quite sure if my car had it or not. Seemed to be a lot of confusion out there about which models actually have it.

Just coded with Bimmercode for the first time. Very easy to use and had no issues. Did a fog light delete, and coded out the bulb warnings.

Did my coding today. Seems I don't have ASD, as it wasn't an option!
As a newer BMW owner and someone completely foreign to coding BMW options, this app was super easy. Things I changed: Angel eyes to 100% for daytime lights (Regarding my previous post, I checked before and after. The halos even at 100% are pretty mild compared to the actual headlights. This seems to be a nice cosmetic change without risk of blinding other drivers) Enabled mirror folding on lock/unlock with fob + comfort access Lowered minimum driving speed that mirrors auto unfold at Disabled legal disclaimers Changed start up animation to M series because why not Set radio to turn off when driver door opens (thank god, this has been driving me crazy) Enable temperature displays for my tires Enabled closing the tailgate with both the footwell switch and fob A couple of times while coding my car threw a spoiler error. Went away with a restart. Overall the process was incredibly painless. I highly recommend this app! |

Ive noticed quite a few folks coding the radio to turn off when the driver's door opens, why not press the S/S button twice

Convenience. Same reason why people code the comfort access folding mirror. Why not just hit the mirror button on the door before you leave the car?

That can easily be forgotten, but you can't really forget to switch off the radio.

You're asking why someone would something to be more convenient? I don't know, I guess for more convenience? It's an extra step to hit the button a second time. Lots of times I turn off my car but I don't immediately get out, and want my music/the radio/a cell phone call to continue before exiting my vehicle.

Hi guys.
I just coded tilting mirrors, have set it to active with normal value. No action. Changed to strong and still no joy. Don't know does it make any difference but my mirrors are not folding(thats ok for now, will try retrofit later). Switch on both positions(driver and passanger) So far i can't see tyres pressure and temp but i guess it'll display after drive. All others coding seems to be fine. All animations, logos, door handles light on reverse. Any advise? EDIT Just read that tilt mirror will work only if you have folding mirrors or electric seats? Is it true? Looks for these two options in the app. Where are they? I found mirror folding with comfort access, but is folding with fob on f30 still available?
