MyBMW Remote / BMW Assist Login
The MyBMW Remote iPhone app asks for a BMW Assist login. I can't find anything on this anywhere, any ideas other than calling them?

I called them and they setup a contact email and pin. You use these to login. Unfortunately, the App is horrible. It's on a major delay and isn't updated for the iPhone 5.

Thanks for the info guys. Kinda lame, rather not call and have them try to talk me into the Convenience plan.

You need to call them to verify that that car is all setup and working properly anyway. Better to do that now than when you need it and find out that it's not setup.
They don't do a hard-sell on the convenience plan. Just one quick question, say no thanks, and you're done. |

Not sure if this is the case for everyone, but I had to figure out that the username must be in all caps when you login through the app. No idea why it's that way, but it works!

This thing seems to be pretty poorly executed. I've had to call in three times to get my login information confirmed and reset. I'm now getting an error message that my account has been "locked". When I called back to report this, they had no clue as to what this means. They are going to initiate an "IT ticket" to look into it. Great!

It gives me this message when I tried adding in my vehicle:
THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE ADDED TO YOUR ACCOUNT. This vehicle does not have a mobile network facility. This means that it cannot be added to your account. |
