Aluminum hex trim
Has anyone seen this trim in person, or something similar from BMW on another model?
How is the finish, is it matte or shiny? My concern is glare. If can you offer a site with pictures, or pictures that would be great. Thanks. I found this from the new M135i, Euro model. It looks like a matte, not shiny finish. Not bad, compared to some of the high gloss options. http://www.bmwblog.com/2012/07/06/ne...35i-photos-03/ |

Looks similar to my e90 m-sport alum hex. Stain finish, no shiny glare, and finger prints are not visible.

That makes me feel better about it. I do prefer low/no glare trim. I've got "black poplar" in my 135i, and the coating is really shiny. In mid day sun I get a big glare, hits my eyes, not good. |
