I debadged mine and like the clean look. The only thing chrome on my car were the exhaust tips and badges. I would get black exhaust tips if I could, but I heard you can't because they are welded. I was considering painting the 328i black and putting them back on...it would be different and I have the black diffuser, side skirt extensions and lip.

The first owner debadged the 428i from the rear. I asked my service advisor if he'd have it rebadged and it is now back to stock. I had the new badge gathering dust so I should have thought to ask him months ago.
A couple reasons I rebadged: 1. IMO, I think it looks like I'm trying to hide the fact that I drive a 428i - the single exhaust is a dead giveaway. More power to you if you like the way it looks or you drive a bigger engined model. 2. When people ask me about my car, they have no idea what it is especially since the 4 Series is now the former 3 Series coupe. |
