Downpipe or Catback? Cant Decide
i planned to get a downpipe or a full catback system for my 320i on JB4, which one you think will get me more power and torque..also i got a very good deal on the catback and i like it more because of its sound that can really change a car character..
please help me to decide.. Thanks. |

If it's power you want, go downpipe. Catless will open up the exhaust and make things a bit louder, but not to the point that a catback will.

Go with DP, they add performance and sound.
If the sound is not enough go with catback

well they all do the same thing, remove restriction and allow more flow so you need to know what are the regulations of your country so you don't get your car checked one day and bam, for mine they don't give a damn so I went catless

I have the ER catless downpipe and AFE catback setup. Pretty loud on cold starts, but definitely loving the performance gains.

As long as there is no CEL, you are safe, I went and made service at dealer with dp and H&R springs.. they didn't say anything and I walked out like a boss but I know they saw the suspension at least maybe they didn't see the dp cuz it had a wrap and there was no CEL on.

I saw PLM downpipe with a price very low.
https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/Prod...e=PLM-B-F30-DP Are they comparative to ER downpipe? Can someone comment on this downpipe? |
