BMW Pickup...?
I've seen the concepts on the web but has there been any more info on this?
The reason I ask is on my way here me from detroit I was driving next to a test car with 90% of the truck covered up but you could see patches of the body and it had the same exact wrap design as the new 8 series concepts.

Too bad you don't have any photos. I remember seeing, on video, M3 pick ups for the plants to move parts around. Thought it was a neat idea. Never came out for production but seemed to be made just for factory use.
