We have members here who have put M badges on their 335's. Happens all the time sadly.

Agree. I could care less what a person puts on their car. I think it's worst that some guys get so jacked up about it. Funny yeah, mad...not so much.

MSport comes from the factory with plenty of M adornments all ready, in fact I am not a huge fan of that. But on the exterior, the only M badges are on the wheels. To then go out of your way to add more physical M badges...

My personal opinion is that they should make a different badge even for the M sport. I think it's total cheese to put an M3 or M5 badge on any car that's not. I also think its bad to to get the M engine cover with the performance kit. If you want an M buy an M. But I am sure that BMW will milk anyone willing to pay to much for a 20 HP tune. I think the are really paying for the engine cover not the HP.
I was going to buy an M3 but I am so happy with the AH3. I had no idea about this car when I was shopping and LOVE IT. |

It's like when people where giving me a hard time about removing all the AH3 badges from my car. NOW it looks like a normal 335. Yep it's all a state of mind. Don't really care who knows what my car is.

I'm perfectly content with the existence BMW ///M Sport Line models and ///M Performance Products. I think it is great that BMW has provided customers looking for added performance and more aggressive cosmetic styling an opportunity to achieve those goals without having to resort to aftermarket solutions. BMW's M Division puts quite a bit of both time and effort into developing, testing, and marketing those products. The fact that M stamp ends up on those parts is just fine with me. My F30 335i M Sport has small M badges/logos on the wheels, door sills, steering wheel (one), side skirts (the M Performance stickers were installed at the port in conjunction with the M Performance Black Grilles, unbeknownst to me), exhaust (M PE-related), engine cover (M PPK-related), and intake (M PPK-related). Despite the presence of these badges, I by no means consider my car to be in the ballpark, let alone the same league, as an M3. My car is what it is. It's a 335i fitted with M Sport Line parts and M Performance bits. When I add the M Performance Front Lip and Rear Carbon Fiber Spoiler, it will still be a 335i. When I add the M Performance Brakes and Suspension Kit, it will still be a 335i. I am always quick to point out to those less familiar with cars/BMW inquiring about my 335i that is not an M model. I will never pass it off as something that it is not because quite frankly, I am quite satisfied with what it actually is. Plopping an ///M badge on the trunk lid of a Sport Line F30 328i or on the trunk lid of a M Sport Line 335i with every M Performance Part imaginable is where I personally draw the line. The right to have the ///M badge on the trunk, in my opinion, is reserved for those who truly have a proper M car designed from the ground up by the Motorsport Division.
