It's one of the few tech options that's not just about convenience/luxury but actually very useful and adds to safety. And above all else it seems as though it's out of the future. One of my friends saw it and said "it's like a James Bond car".

I would have never ordered HUD.
Fortunately for me, the car I bought had it installed. Now like many others have stated, it's one of my favorite features of the car! If I didn't have it I wouldn't miss it but now that I do, it's pretty close to a "must have" IMO. |

HUD is one of those features that if you never had, you wouldn't feel like you need it. I had the chance to take out my mom's new F30 the other day and let's just that I will not be purchasing my own F30 without this feature. There was no need to ever take my eyes off the road with having the Nav info + speed limit info right there. Very convenient and just plain cool. It's a must have as far as I'm concerned.

I was skeptical about HUD but don't think I can ever go back to not having it. It is a very underrated feature of the tech package once you get the hang of all of the feature (music, nav)
