Got my winter tires and rims

Went with the Micehelin X-Ice3 225/50/17 and Sport Edition Black rims...thinking I should have gone with the replica m5 rims but oh well... maybe next season

Looks great....just a quick question, are the tyres run flats?
If not is anything to do before you put them on?

Cheers for any advise

Nope, these are not runflats. As many here have indicated, runflats are generally more expenisve, fewer choices available and if you have bmw assist you can decide whether theyre important to you for the winter. I decided not to go with runflats - hopefully I wont regret it. Didnt have to do anything before putting them on... only reset the tire pressure monitoring afterwards.

Great news - looks like I haven't ordered the wrong tyres after all then.

Cheers for the update and enjoy the car!!

Hello,

it doesn't look like you have the standard suspension...Which lowering dou you have ? Can you please post some more pictures of your car with the 17" wheels ? It would be great, so i can make myself an impression of 17" rims on a lowered F30.
