Yes lots of dynos have proven this. I'm thinking with the power kit we will be close to 400hp

I'm surprised the 340 has been out for nearly a year, and people haven't realized the power the B58 puts to the pavement? The N55 was putting 300 to the ground and so that means closer to 330 at the crank. Surely BMW wasn't going to release the B58 with incremental improvements over the N55.

Really interested to see how the 330 with the B48 compares, since BMW is marketing the 330 as only having about ~10HP more .. likely another understatement.

Not sure who tflcar is, but they should stop looking at cars.com.

Yeah, the 1/4 mile isn't accurate on that site either.

The 340i should be running 13-13.3 secs, I managed to get a time of 13.2-13.3 with the MPPK 335xi, and 12.6 with FBO minus intercooler with stock wheels.

BMW's interior design, particular the center stack, is very stale, and it didn't help that the leather dashboard was not available, at least here in Canada

The C might have better fit, finish & material. I fail to see the big rave about it's interior. It's nice but not THAT nice. Design is subjective.

Overall it looks like a soft luxury sedan.
I prefer the F30 Msport's more sporty look and feel.

I'll take the 17 S4 over the C anyday of the week if 3 is not an option.

It's horses for courses. Some of us like the bland Audi and others like the bland 3 (in whatever form). So, from my perspective it's all rather bland.

Where for god sake is anything that's actually individual? Something that stands out, something that.......makes me stop and utter the words, YOU are gorgeous!!!!

If anyone says have you seen the M4 or its GTS counterpart, I will send the SAS to get you. They are fucking ugly.

My point being, actually, I'm not sure what my point is.

Oh yes, I remember, volume sales!!! Ford and Vauxhall are good at it, BMW aren't far behind. Well yes, they are but, you get my point.

They will continue to produce Focus rs's that are actually quite good, for decent money.

But my point is, when does the volume sales v individuality meet??

REAL individuality!

Yes, it was one of those evenings.

Apologies to all.

Btw, it was Scotland, that famous wine producing nation.

I ve seen a few 2017 A4s around work in the Bay Area. I honestly don't think much of it. Audi has cool features especially the gauges but the ergonomics are not good (i.e. Infotainment controls in front of auto shifter), no manual, and the seats in every Audi I have been in are not as comfortable.

This is my experience and why I got a BMW 340i over an Audi S4.

Don't see the big deal with the C class interior.

Plenty of bling for people who like that.

Nav screen looks horrible. BMWs is integrated with the dash because the dash swoops around it... Remove it and it would look like something is missing. Mercs essentially looks like an afterthought tacked on.

It may look weird but if you have sat in one and used it, it is just fine. The shifter is used as a resting area when you use the MMI. Also if you notice the placement of the cups is exactly the same as the BMW and with the BMW having the taller shifter you have to becareful when getting the cup while in the Audi the shifter is father away and lower so you don't have to worry about hitting the shifter.

+1 looks like a sticked on ipad. doesn't look sturdy either and makes me wonder if it will make noises in a couple of years from road bumps.
Sitting in the C class the dash is abnormally high.
