I'm surprised the 340 has been out for nearly a year, and people haven't realized the power the B58 puts to the pavement? The N55 was putting 300 to the ground and so that means closer to 330 at the crank. Surely BMW wasn't going to release the B58 with incremental improvements over the N55.
Really interested to see how the 330 with the B48 compares, since BMW is marketing the 330 as only having about ~10HP more .. likely another understatement. |

Look at the cars.com specs quoted on that review (and the cars.com site). How the heck does cars.com get 0-60 times that are so much higher than any other review and worse than many folk have manged themselves at the track? It looks like they mixed up the models and drove a 320 instead of a 328 and a 328 instead of a 340. Not sure who tflcar is, but they should stop looking at cars.com. |

The 340i should be running 13-13.3 secs, I managed to get a time of 13.2-13.3 with the MPPK 335xi, and 12.6 with FBO minus intercooler with stock wheels. |

Overall it looks like a soft luxury sedan. I prefer the F30 Msport's more sporty look and feel. I'll take the 17 S4 over the C anyday of the week if 3 is not an option.

It's horses for courses. Some of us like the bland Audi and others like the bland 3 (in whatever form). So, from my perspective it's all rather bland.
Where for god sake is anything that's actually individual? Something that stands out, something that.......makes me stop and utter the words, YOU are gorgeous!!!! If anyone says have you seen the M4 or its GTS counterpart, I will send the SAS to get you. They are fucking ugly. My point being, actually, I'm not sure what my point is. Oh yes, I remember, volume sales!!! Ford and Vauxhall are good at it, BMW aren't far behind. Well yes, they are but, you get my point. They will continue to produce Focus rs's that are actually quite good, for decent money. But my point is, when does the volume sales v individuality meet?? REAL individuality! |

I ve seen a few 2017 A4s around work in the Bay Area. I honestly don't think much of it. Audi has cool features especially the gauges but the ergonomics are not good (i.e. Infotainment controls in front of auto shifter), no manual, and the seats in every Audi I have been in are not as comfortable.
This is my experience and why I got a BMW 340i over an Audi S4.

Plenty of bling for people who like that. Nav screen looks horrible. BMWs is integrated with the dash because the dash swoops around it... Remove it and it would look like something is missing. Mercs essentially looks like an afterthought tacked on. |
