So I'm looking at purchasing a BMW for myself (4 series coupe now that they're discontinuing the 3 series) and an X3 for my fiance. Thanks for sharing the information Wes, as I will be deploying to Afghanistan here in Sept. It sounds like you worked with both Pentagon Car Sales and Superior Motors. Is there any real difference between the two?

I guess this forum doesn't auto re-size the photos lol. But here they are, taking delivery from the dealership and after we got the windows tinted and clear bra installed. The car is simply amazing, an incredible machine that is a blast to drive. My wife is really happy to say the least and the color combo is perfect!

There really isn't a difference between the two. I experienced exceptional customer service from both. Andrew West is my sales agent at Pentagon, was a pleasure to work with. I've also visited the Pentagon store in person as you may have read before, while I was in Ramstein for a few weeks. Just nice knowing that the store exists and they do sell a ton of BMW's to military stationed there and abroad.

Good luck on your purchase. It is a long and lengthy process, but it is well worth the way and something to look forward to after your deployment!

OP, how is your wife enjoying the new car? I'm considering getting the same car just not xi through military sales. My only concern is not having the ability to test drive the car. The wife previously had an '08 E90 335i with PPK and PPE.

The wife loves her new car. It's beautiful inside and out. It's so smoothe, smoother than my car, 2008 335. It's still sporty too with a nice growl from the exhaust and inline 6. The handling is great too and fuel economy is awesome, better than expected.

I highly recommend the MSport package though. We would not be happy if we didn't get it.

I ordered a 335i through Superiormotorsmsp.com and it has been lies and bs since I gave the down payment. I requested a delivery in May which the SA said was no problem. He stated the car would be built in March which would put it in line for a May delivery. Turns out the car was built first week of Jan and now is sitting at the VDC. They are asking me to find someone to do power of attorney because it cant sit there till May. When I asked why the car was built in Jan and not Mar SA said because of holiday shutdown the build was pushed forward. That is after the finance manager told me it would be built toward the end of Jan. That is just one of the lies I was told and now im in a bad spot because of it. I do go back to the states till sometime in May and I have my car built in the states now. Way to go superiormotorsmsp.com. The funny thing about it is they are blaming BMW.

Well I'm sorry to hear that. We're you dealing with them in K town or some where else? You need all paperwork and down payment to be submitted before a car gets built. Sounds like communication went wrong some where.

Also, did you have to pay a 2.5% import tax?

I ordered thorough Pentagon Auto sales and there is no Import tax.

Thanks for your service. With the sport package and sport wheel, along with cold weather package, did it come with a heated sport steering wheel?

Sorry to hear about your poor experience with the Superior Motors. I purchased my both BMWs thru them, my SA was Angela Verde. I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking to buy new BMW thru Superior Motors; she is been very good to work with and on time with all my requests.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it came with the heated M SPort steering wheel. From what I understand that gets added when it is checked in and titled in the US.
