I wish I read this before placing my order, I probably could have gotten a better deal, but I'm happy with what I paid, especially since I have a guarantee on my trade-in.

For the team drive event, the discount can't be applied to a car that has been ordered before you go to the event, says so in the email when you register. I called BMW NA about this and they said the code you get after is dated so the dealer will not get that money back if they decide to honor it anyways. My dealer found a great solution to this problem for me, PM me if you wanna know.

Got my confirmation pick up date today. Heading down to Munich on the last week of July to get the bimmer.
Not certain how the color combination of MG, Coral Red, and Dark Burl Walnut is going to work out or not. Guess I'll find out after I get there.

Used the BMW configurator to spec out my order. Good indicator of what to expect upon pick up at BMW Welt on 28 July.

Hope your right about the interior color. Exterior commercial photos are sometimes slight elongated in an effort to give it a better appearance. Also the hues of the interior color are doctored to give it somewhat of an artificial pleasant glow.

Plan on taking comparison photos of actual delivery to compare it against the commercial photos just for humor.

Finally got my VIN for 28 July Welt pick up. Tried running it in VIN decoders only to get an error message stating it doesn't exist. What's up with that. Can only assume it's too early.

Initially wasn't too enamored about the M Sport front spoilers but now it's growing on me. The more I look at it the more I'm liking it.
