Sp82, don't worry about it. Not sure what Kline is, but I'm guessing they probably have a standard verbiage that they tell people as a buffer to cover themselves. Nevertheless, you will get it in November. Just keep in mind when you're rolling in your 435, my 335 will still be on the back of a truck.

Lol I need it before mid Nov though--thats the main thing..I was banking on getting this 11/16.

Kline is the company of the carrier--they are the company that owns Bishu Highway..

I can tell you that although I've never ordered a BMW before and have no clue on the turnaround time, even if it got to the port on 11/9 as scheduled, I would think that it would be a tight turnaround for you to get it by 11/16. I realize that you're in GA, but a week seems like a pretty aggressive turnaround. Just my thoughts. As I mentioned before my timeline is dependent on your timeline. LOL.

On a side note, I pulled the Bishu Highway website locator. It appears that the ship's location has backtracked per my post from yesterday. I'm thinking that the status locator is jacked up.

What is the phone # for Kline?

Backtracked? I'm thinking it's really delayed again.

And no on that one week turn around being aggressive-- this will be my 5th ordered BMW--- the longest I've waited from hitting port to taking delivery is 4 days. My current F30 got to port on a Wednesday and I took delivery that Saturday -- 3 days later

Thanks for the #.
See pic and compare to previous. All I can say is that the info is inaccurate.

True--- thats where the last update was from--- this is from Friday evening-- im still hoping this is in Baltimore by Thurs

In comparison -- the Don Juan left southampton 2 days after us and reached Halifax and departed already and is currently on her way to NY. Also, the Independence 2 which departed Bremerhaven 2 days before us is about 3 hours from reaching Baltimore now---which sucks because we were supposed to be in Baltimore and then Brunswick before both of them!

so not that much of a delay--but still delayed.

ETA in Baltimore is 11/8, and will be into Brunswick on 11/11- Monday

Still aiming for a 11/16 pick up date.

i hope its in Brunswick before the 11th though.

Did you call the number to find out when it's arriving? So after Baltimore the next stop is Brunswick?

You have an M5 on there! sweeeeet! I bet you cant wait either---if it wasnt for the damn weather in the UK--this ship wouldve reached Brunswick this morning, and would probably be unloaded by now.

yeah, the waiting is kiling me. but at least I was able to move my PCD date from Dec 13 to Nov 26 which took 2wks off the time frame.

I was wondering why when it left the UK it was just circling around the chanel for a day before heading to the states.

was wondering the same thing--not sure if you noticed--- ALL other ships were moving just fine, but this, and a few other car carriers were just making circles--I was getting furious watching that lol!

what sucks for me more so is that the ETA is Monday--which is when 2 other car carriers which I know for sure are carrying BMW's as well are also arriving--which means VPC will probably be jam packed!

I was shocked as to how fast my car went into production, and how it made it onto a ship within 2 days of getting to the port----but ofcourse every delay that can hit it, is now happening--go figure!

I did notice that a few ships were just circling the channel.

I see that both our cars finished production on the 18th. If I wasn't doing PCD I probably would be getting my car next week, but I can't skip out on the PCD. I've been trying to go back since I got my 1st bmw 6yrs, now got the chance again and this time with an M5. just counting down the days.

**Another update**

Per Port of Baltimore, this vessell is due in on Friday, the "BMW's are not scheduled to begin work on her until 1900hrs Friday evening"

I guess theres a bunch of other cars on there that need to get off first---still scheduled to leave "First thing Saturday morning" which my guess is---puts it into Brunswick sometime Monday PM.

was holding out hope that this would still be a day earlier and get in to Baltimore on Thursday...seems more likely that Friday is the day-- I dont see cars going through VPC in GA until atleast mid to end of next week--may have to reconsider that 11/16 date I was hoping for.

2 days behind schedule. You might still be able to get it on the 16th if all things at VDC work out fine. I've heard of cars getting through vdc in 3 days.

man, you guys have way too much time on your hands.
My thought process is that it will get here when it gets here. Don't get me wrong, I'm anxious and ready for it now, but the ship schedule, unloading, VPC, transit is out of my control. So I'm not going to worry about it.

b/t/w, what interest rate are you guys getting? what about dealer added items such as tire insurance, extended warranty, extended service plan, windshield coverage. You getting any of that? If so, what's a good price for these items?

I'm in front of a computer most of my day--and bimmerpost is always up! hence all the updates.

true..it'll get here when it gets here, good way to think but for me.. I need to know allll details!

I'd never go with the extended warranty /service plan, and especially tire plan..IMO...too much extra..thats just me though--as I usually switch cars every 3-4 years anyways so that stuff is no use for me.

I plan on keeping the car longer term. Probably 6-8 years. I put about 20k miles/ year. I'm considering getting the extras...just don't know which ones.

Anyone know why when I pull up the status in www.marinetraffic.com, the Bishu Highway is still midway in the Atlantic? I would think that by now it should be getting close to the east coast of N.A.

Anyone have updated status on Baltimore and Brunskwick?

Just got off the phone with Port of Baltimore--she is due in to port sometime between 6-7am tomorrow morning. Will begin unloading first at the Dundalk Terminal, and will move at 5pm to the BMW side, and begin unloading by 7pm. Still scheduled to leave Baltimore by Saturday----- which my guess is...puts into Brunswick sometime during the day Monday.

whats surprising to me is this is still not showing up any current activity on any tracking sites--not sure whats up with that.

I believe the update you are seeing about it being wayy out there is from the last update when it was "in range" on 11/1.
