Anyone planning on changing front turn signals?

Is anyone planning on changing the front turn signals to something like the Philips Silver Vision bulbs to get rid of the "egg yolk" look?

I'm thinking about getting amber LED's. Just first wanna see how hard it will be to replace them myself. If I am going to have to do a complete removal of the unit, then never mind lol.. I'm not much of a mechanic and don't want to ruin my car shortly after I got it

Will change it whenever the bulb goes out... conversion to white LED if not too expensive...

Anyone has the picture of the bulb/LED unit we can swap for ?? it will make it easier together with the Reference...

Very easy to replace Svache. Took me 5 minutes you just need to take out three screws and you can reach it.

Navigation screen protector?

It's not a touch screen. What are you going to be protecting it from?

I have trouble imagining scratching the screen, unless you are cleaning it with a Brillo pad.

You should consider changing car washes.

Wow! You're prepared man; that's pretty cool.

I want to change my turn signals to something LED too. Just waiting for it to arrive, then I'll take it to a shop and get some advice...

It seems like there is a significant amount of interest in a full LED bulb retrofit. I seem to be searching endlessly and the only person that hast done anything thus far is x-vert (oneighty). Maybe he can shed some light on the process?

The factors:

- Where to get quality LEDs which are bright and at a reasonable price
- Resistor wiring. Is this needed, if so for which lights and which size resistors. (Would LED brake lights need a resistor wired in?)
- Coding + Warning lights: Some LED lights throw a lamp warning and some don't. I believe the entire warning can just be coded out to limit this as a factor.

An example of the front lights in white

I'm surprised you let people from a car wash in your car, or even go to a car wash for that matter, if you like everything perfect.

I kinda doubt a screen protector is going to look good.. if you want things perfect, just do it yourself

I wanted this setup too but it is a tedious process due to the retrofit.
