Just because you have more horses under the hood that absolutely does not translate over to a better car or better driver. If you want to put up or shut up like we used to say...3 honks and youre off on the highway, street, parking lot, wherever...now having grown up and learning constantly on the handling characteristics of my 335i through known commercial blocks where there is no one around I'd practice a bit every now and then on some tight hairpins and easy straights into medium wide angle turnarounds. Having grown up now and making my own living I can afford to go to my nearest track and pay for their practice on a closed circuit.

I had my mind set on a 6MT blk/blk M Sport 328i and test drove it at least 3 times and it just never felt like it had enough torque. Obviously these items can all be modded but I don't do that as well anymore. The most I'd do is a tune and maybe a catback exhaust that's not too obnoxious.

When I sat in the 335i sportline not even the M Sport it just felt like dating the hotter sister lol. I felt at home instantly even with the hydraulic assist steering the chassis with the heavier motor just made everything feel right.

But I agree for the value the 328i is definitely a better vehicle financially speaking, it definitely will maneuver easier being lighter up front with better balance, also if not faster through turns with the lighter front end, but at the end of the day it's all about the driver and the car.

Just like selecting tires....you can go average route or high end. It all depends on what you think your "needs" are...lol
