Hopefully you are not suffering too much sedan remorse!

Not as long as there are no plans for a touring that will allow me to row my own gears. When that's announced I'll be hurting!

The first two regular production cars are in the system. Look like dealer loaners though: both black no-lines, one with ZPP, the other with ZPP and ZCW.

Did you mean to say the only test vehicles are RWDs?

No, he meant that the RWDs were only test vehicles. They're not going to be offered in the US retail market.

Wow, that's the first I've heard that the Tourings will be xDrive only. I hope that is just speculation or rumor, because I plan on getting one, but I don't want xdrive. I don't mean to offend, but what is the source on that?

Ask-A-Dealer section of another BMW forum. Official MY2014 list.

You're not alone in your disappointment.

It's been documented for quite some time. All xDrive autos. Intitially it was only to be the 328 before they announced the diesel was coming. I had every intention to order one until I was finally able to confirm it. Then I just went ahead and ordered a 335i M Sport. I technically don't need a wagon, I just wanted one.

Audi abandoned its wagon customers here by not bringing over any true wagon other than that ugly allroad. Thankfully BMW is not making that stupid mistake. This long time Audi owner is getting a 328i wagon as an European Delivery this year!

Pricing info on wagon - including ED pricing

got this pdf from a dealer...

good news for ED - it starts around $38.5K

Its a little confusing since items are priced individually yet listed as only part of an option group ... so that a little unclear.

Hope its helps.

My problem is i just read about the 335 GT. its 150 pound heavier but also has at least 60 more hp. looks like it'll be out in Sept time frame.

Anyone know the 0-60 on the 328xi Touring? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for posting. I'd expect the acceleration for the wagon to be on the order of 0.1 sec slower than the sedan, a little under 6 seconds 0-60.

I definitely would have went for a 3 touring RWD MT. Modern line, cold weather, tech package.

AGF31: Thanks for posting the PDF file..

I maybe interested in a BMW again! Still disappointed in no manual and no 5 series wagon. The gt version of the 5 series and 3 series is the most pointless vehicle.

But the diesel wagon has got me interested.. Can't wait till it comes out!

$41450 base price
$895 destination and handling
$550 paint
$2600 sport
$250 anthracite wood trim
$950 cold weather
$1900 driver assistance
$2200 premium package
$3000 tech package

$53545 before tax title and licensing. Pretty steep!

what about lighting and wheels, and diesel

It only gets worse. I would not buy a 50K+ car without xenons. That adds another 900. I also want summer tires, since I put on dedicated snows. That will add around another 1000. And assuming a diesel premium of 1500-2000, we are now talking about a car with a list of around 57K! Am I really going to pay close to 60K for a 3 series wagon?
