Painting exhaust tips

Hey guys, I just bought aftermarket exhausts, I got the chrome tips, and I want to turn it into black chrome tips, anybody know good ways to make that happen? maybe paint or aftermarket exhaust tips ? I got 2 80mm tips for the f30 328i.

I wouldn't paint them, they're going to end up looking like s4it. If you can remove them, have them annodized or at least powdercoated.

Plastic dip them. It holds up well to the heat and you can peel it off when you want to change back. You need to put on like 3-4 coats though. The more coats the easier to peel off later. Here's a thread about it.

I painted my mpe tips with high temp gloss black paint from autozone. looks great. Thin layers. Multiple coats. No chipping, yet. 6 months.

I think i will try plastidip first as it is the cheapest option and easily reversible if anything goes wrong. Thank you for the help guys, anymore ways of doing this is greatly appreciated!
