F32 M Performance rear diffuser

Hi All,
I want to order the M performance rear diffuser..

Fast question.

Does it come in black matt standard? I don't want to have to spray it at all and was planning to install it on the car all black as I think it would look good with the M performance side foils and black tinted roof on my EB2 F32.

Does anyone have a picture of t installed on an EB F32? Never seen one. Always been partially painted...

I just want to be sure before I order the part.

Cheers

its very easy there are 2 bolts on each side and then 3 down the middle. some of the guides I read there were push pins, there were not on my 2014 f32. once you have the bolts out it pulls out. you can look at your new part for reference as to where the tabs are.

put the new one in, snap the tabs and fasten the bolts. it took me about 10 minutes by myself.

Thanks a lot for the heads up!
So I got the part.

Do I have to cut the piece where the exhaust goes?

Also I have some small metal fixture components and what looks like a rubber seal.... Not

quite sure where these go. Any clue?

Mine is a twin pipe 428i so I got the right component thankfully...

However I think I need to cut away the piece blocking where the pipes need to be mounted... Is this right?

Yes it's right. You need to cut away that piece.

I receive and install it yesterday.

Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the white cord like a rubber seal ? I have installed the diffuser without take it...

There is the picture of the diffuser on the car:

It's used to mask around the middle part when painting. (in the groove)

that is correct, if you read the official document it lists that rubber strip as masking tape. I assumed it was some sort of buffer for between the 2 pieces at first also but that is not the case it is for painting.

+1

I have my diffuser painted but haven't installed it because I'm unsure how these metal clips work to secure the mesh. Do they slide onto the tabs and then get crimped?

How did people cut their diffusors?

I was planning to carefully use a dremel to carefully cut away and finish the raw edge....

I think that using a Dremel is risky...

I use a knife like that and it was an easy and perfect cut job !

I had already installed it by the time I saw this...

Dremel cut through like butter. No problems and a super clean finish.

Some pics to help others out.
