Car is off, key removed and only left side stays on..anybody know what's the problem?

Prob car thinks you parked it on the side of the road. Try togling the indicator stalk...

Read manual about parking lights. You can activate parking lights by pressing down the turn light signals. It leaves the left light on (standard on most European cars). I forgot how to deactivate the parking lights but this should be written in the car's manual.
