Maybe in your world but a glass panel wihch opens is called a sunroof in mine You know ... because you can see the sun through it I've honestly never heard of a moonroof before and I've had what you describe on most of my cars ever.

But only if you have the auto dimming electric side mirrors, which are unfortunately not a standard feature in every country and quite expensive to order.

A sunroof with glass instead of metall sliding or tilting away is called a moonroof since Ford used the term in the 70s. So it's probably a US specific term.

Yeah that's what I found - Ford introduced the concept int eh states in the 70s and it stuck whilst the rest of the world still call it a sunroof

I just added windshield fluid for the first time, once I opened the top, I noticed that it is totally obliterated by a bumpy surface, I poured some fluid on it thinking that the fluid probably won't go through and it but it actually did. I guess they placed that thing with tiny pores to prevent shit from getting in there.

Cruise Control
So, when I first saw this thread I thought "oh look, a thread for people who haven't read the manual" . But, now I'm posting here too so I haven't read the manual as well as I thought.
I used cruise control for the first time yesterday and I noticed that a little read light comes on on the outside of the mail speedometer ring to indicate the speed that CC is set to. And the light turns green when CC is on and you're at the speed that's programmed. I think it's a very good-looking way to show this and was a pleasant surprise. I've had my 335i XDrive Sport for two weeks now and it's always nice the be surprised by a feature you never knew about! h |

I had that allready on my e90. But I think it requires the "big" 2 zone ac. Do you even have the small version outside of Germany?

Two interesting things I have found over the past few weeks... 1. In Eco Pro mode if you get up to 75mph the Black Panel Display shows you a little curved blue arrow pointing to the let to suggest you slow down. (Think the letters mph also light up in yellow). However, if you continue to boot it, then it goes a step further and changes the graphic to a picture of you taking your foot off the throttle pedal! 2. You can't defeat the self-cancelling indicators. On most cars I've owned, you can defeat the self-cancelling indicators by keeping the indicator stalk held down (or up). Not so in the F30 - the car will cancel the indicator when it deems it ought to and you have to press the indicator stalk again. Bit of an annoyance in some cases.

18" Sport wheels color change
I just picked up my 335i Sport yesterday. The 18" wheels have changed. They are now all "shadow chrome" (not sure what the color is actually called) rather than the inside walls being dark and the surface of the wheels being a brushed silver type look.
Subtle change, but it makes a huge difference in appearance (to me anyway). My dealer didn't notice, but I did |
