M Performance Rear Carbon Fiber Spoiler Arrived
Very impressed with the quality of this piece! Extremely light.
I'm thinking of just installing it myself - although I have no prior experience doing so. Any tips from those who have installed this on their own F30? Thanks! A few pics:

Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have one, and although it looks good, my tip would be to return it to dealer ASAP and order one from e-bay or other supplier. It'll save you may 100's of $$$ and from what I've witnessed, quality is = or > |

I was able to get this genuine M Performance spoiler for $420 from my dealer and I'm quite content with that price. Thanks for the suggestion though. I was looking more for installation-based tips.

I thought about installing a spoiler on my 370z but decided against it for the simple fact that I am uncomfortable drilling into my trunk lol I don't trust myself enough to risk making a mistake. However, I don't know that I would go to BMW as opposed to going to a regular body shop. Though, you do have reassurance going to BMW...I think you'll be happy in the end; the trick is to not look back too much. Just be happy with the quality job you'll get and, since you're happy with the price they gave you, be happy with the price you pay.

Fortunately, my dealer has done an outstanding job in the past with respect to installing Dinan parts (on previous cars I've leased), radar detectors, and M Performance parts (exhaust, etc.). Hopefully the trend continues with the spoiler. Thanks man! Congrats. You'll love it.
