So, I got a BMW genuine set of roofbars and managed to strip one of the bolts that fixes to the mounting point, however no BMW places seem to be able to replace them? Any idea where I can get em from, dont wanna buy anything off ebay cos it might be low strength and just strip and bye bye roofrack..

Might be worth trying one of the roof bar / rack specialists as BMW kit will probably be manufacturer by Thule, Atera or one of the other big names ... if so, these guys will probably carry a better range of spare parts.

I've used www.roofracks.co.uk and www.roofbox.co.uk in the past ... both very reliable.

Thule UK are very helpful cal them or leave a ticket and they will get back to you with a company that can supply the high tensil studs, as i had one stip on my Thule aero bars, on the e90
