You should have received a leather bound case with the car, inside it are several books, inside those books is basically everything you need to know.

Excuse my sarcasm

So....

You couldn't be bothered to listen when the salesman explained it to you.

You can't be bothered to read about it in the manual BMW supplied you.

But, you expect people here to use *their* time to explain it to you?

That's not "helping each other", that's freeloading off the other members of the community. Have some respect.

When you read the manual and become a voice command expert, please come back and teach the rest of us.

Thanks.

I'll help out. Pages 23 and 306 in the Owner's Manual are good places to look for the answers to your questions.

ROFL, Thank you guys! I was wondering how to do this without getting that nasty inbox from Jason, which I got from obviously doing what you guys did, the wrong way. Now I have learned, and for that I am thankful of all of you.

Roki_14, sorry I cannot help you, but you helped me tremendously! So, when you learn how to do the above from the manual, let me know, as my BMW will be delivered around Christmas time, and that would be a killer Christmas present from you to me!

What a bunch of unhelpful pricks. If you know the fucking answer, give him the fucking answer and don't be so childish

Roki, if you wanna ask a genuine question and not get insulted, just head over to the UK part of the forum where people operate as a community

My apologies for starting the sarcasm but I really didn't know how to answer the question short of posting pictures of the pages from the manual.

Click button,
Scream:
"Enter ADdress"

It's that simple..I know, I was surprised to.
It's damn accurate too, almost as good as my Galaxy S3.

I am actually glad to learn you get a hard copy of the manual. It will be nice to have something to flip through when needed or that you can read during at your convenience instead of having to read the .pdf while you at the comptuer.

I find reading the PDF easier and better because it's searchable. The TOC and Index are not very complete.
