I am going to see mine tomorrow... black looks best to me. They come black matt paintable.

I have it in glossy black. IMHO, this suits the glossy black accents of the window trim the best.

Just like the EB2 with the BMW440 plate. Actually that's my car, so of course I like it!

Yes I do like your colour scheme. Is the centre painted or left in the matt black? Is it easy to keep clean?

The centre bit is unpainted, and very easy to keep clean.

That is how it is recommended by BMW. They even put a mask kit in the box.

It some of the pictures its looks black and in others grey.

I am going to go with same colour as JonoNZ. This should match the mud flaps on mine that everyone likes so much

This is what I am thinking of.

That is the recommended paint scheme for the part. It comes with a small gasket for masking that the parts manager showed me.
