Sport Seats w/o Lumbar
Anyone buy a 3 series with Sport seats but WITHOUT power lumbar? I'm thinking about getting an MSport without the Premium package which means no power lumbar.
Does this mean that I'll still have some form of manual lumbar support? Are the Sport seats without power lumbar very comfortable? We have power lumbar on our other BMW and it's been pretty much set and forgotten. But I am concerned that there will be no support at all in the Sport seat lumbar area. Hoping that Sport seats without the power lumbar either offer manual adjustments or at least the lumbar is just locked somewhere in the middle but can't be adjusted. Problem is, none of the dealer inventory around me has a car with sport seats but no premium package so I can't take a test sit. |

Hard to say, but my guess would be that you don't get any adjustment what-so-ever, since the pad would not exist. |

Thanks for the info. I'd be fine with no lumbar adjustment at all BUT I'd hope the lumbar would be locked into place rather than having absolutely no lumbar support at all.
If I deflate all the air in the lumbar support in my other BMW it isn't that comfy. I'm hoping it is not the same as that. |

Based on cars I've seen in So. FL, dealers seems to order most of them with Premium Pkg. I did have a F30 328i service loaner the other day that did not have Premium, but it also didn't have sport seats. Seats were reasonably comfortable. I didn't notice anything troubling with comfort.
Consider looking for a car without sport seats and compare lumbar to no lumbar. Should give you a fairly decent idea of what to expect. You may need to ask dealer to check service loaners to find a basic car with no lumbar. |

I had the same concern. I have sport seats without the lumbar adjustment and it is just fine for me. I asked the same question a few months back and got positive feedback. But it's up to you on what you decide on...
