yeah i did it. Wasn't too bad, took about an hour and a half. Didn't use the betalink, used double sided tape. The rest is really secure with the plastic rivets.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. Very keen on doing double-sided tape instead of betalink. Did you have to do any drilling or punctures for the rivets? I've got a lease and I'm trying to make it easy to undo if it becomes required.

Would love to see some more pictures if possbile. I've got EBII+rockerdecals as well and like how it looks with the matte black lip.

Even my dealer (who did the conversion for me) told me they don't use betalink anymore.

Since when used, they had a good time when needed to remove the part... Almost like PL glue.

You have to drill a few holes...6mm...on the underside of the trim for the rivets to go into the adapter. Nothing that you are going to be able to see later unless you get down and look under the car. On a side note, i took the car for a road trip this weekend. I noticed that the very center part of the splitter, where that black post looking thing attaches to the bumper, probably needs some sort of sealant to be solid. They give you two screws with anchor nuts that sit towards the back, but the front has a tendency to pull away. I bought some of that plastic weld for $5 at the auto store and it's rock solid now. That was the only part of the lip where i used any type of adhesive.

They told me that it's very good for install, but don't make a mistake (misalignment) or have no intention of removing the part.

When it's glued, it's almost permament.

They had to remove a part that was applied with Betalink, and almost completely ruined the part trying to remove it.

I didn't use betalink either. they said it's like plastic cement and you'll ruin the bumper taking it off.

Thanks for info. My bumper is in clear film cover. Will try how betalink will work with film.
