Just installed jb4.
Man was there a difference. Car is much much more powerful than bms stage 1 I had for 1 year. But engine stalled 3 times, rough idle quitw often, don't know why, can anyone help? I've checked on n55 post about this, some say its down pipe, cracked charge pipe, broken waste gate. My car was all good until installing today, i mean i cant broke everything at once can i? If nothing can be fixes i am going to go back to oem asap. Please help if u can. Thankyou!

Also from my experience most of these piggy backs never run as smooth as flash upgrades. |

Could be the wires may be incorrectly installed perhaps???? Otherwise, why don't you go back to stage 1, if you can. Hope you sort it out.

mmmm I've wanted to jump on the JB4 band wagon too. But so far am just happy with the stage 1.
I'd be advising the same... unplug it, going back to stock to see if issues are still present. Do you know if there are any fault codes being thrown from the JB4? |

check your rear exhaust for a lot of soot after leaving it to idle for a bit (don't rev it)
if you see a lot of soot gather you have a failed fuel injector |

Sounds like symptoms of having the JB4 MAF sensor installed. Remember for the JB4 to not plug in the MAF sensor to the JB4 connection (purple wires).
There should only be two points plugged into in the engine bay.. MAP (Brown) and TMAP (Rainbow) |

Thanks for ur help but why the purple wire if not needed? And since i had it installed for 2 wks and stalled 5 times does it cause any likely damage?

It may affect your fuel trims slightly in the short term but the car will sort itself out and no long term damage. |
