Bulbs come and go all the time. I'd give these a try:

Most of the quality and well designed led bulbs being sold now offer very similiar beam patterns if installed correctly. The light cutoff will never be as good as a halogen bulb but if installed, aimed, and tested correctly the amount of dazzle to other drivers will be minimal.

The biggest difference in the many bulbs that I have tried has been brightness. So far the brightest bulb has been this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also, I have tried a couple of the fanless bulbs (lasfit and sylvania) and found them to be alot less bright than the bulbs with a built in fan. The fan has never failed on any of the bulbs that I have tried but one of the led chips did eventually fail. Anyway, good luck with your selection.

18 month old thread. The link no longer works. Does anyone have a more recent suggestion as to which halogens to LED headlights work?

At least highs and lows and fogs too if you have them. I went LED across the board.

Hi Billfitz,

brilliant guide, thanks for linking it to me in the other post - your links are quite old and I guess the years and technology has moved on.

What are your thoughts on something like this, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354505286...BlBMUPy7_PGgYw

Is this too bright at 200W, will it blow the fuse? What rating is the Low beam Fuse? I'm assuming 15A, if so I guess I wouldn't want to exceed 80% of the fuse rating, so that leaves 72W per bulb.

What Power was the bulbs you used ?

They're not 200w. No LED is. They may be 20w at best. Many sellers of LEDs use a wattage rating that would be required from an incandescent to realize the same lumens output.

I sent them back and ordered a pair with No heat sink just normal plugs but the bulb itself didnt fit in the hole right to lock in the collar. What is really the difference on these style of bulbs?

I cut mine with a rotary tool and abrasive blade. You may not have that option with fan cooled. As I recall I may have done some trimming inside the lamp with a multi-tool as well. I have these for turn signals, but they may not fit an F30. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
