Sorrry, I don't chase clout, so I could care less about post appreciation. I am not arguing, just stating fact. For a low volume, small business, with a niche product, 60+% profit margin is not all that much. If you think it is, try running a few businesses and get back to us on how it worked out.

You seem pretty smart. We have 10 commitments over the course of the 2 month group buy. The owner isn't going to be retiring from the profits in this event or forum based sales any time soon. Integral is not a charity, nor do I know of any cheaper alternatives providing a pug-n-play solution at this level of audio quality.

Not sure why we're arguing over markup. What's an acceptable markup to you? It's a luxury good. It could be 1000% for all I care. If it's not worth the money to you then don't buy it.

Fact is making money selling products is fucking hard. They have to put a ton of money into inventory to get things made at a somewhat reasonable cost knowing that a lot of units may take quite a while to sell.

Yes, it likely is. Read the post above, got to do what you have to to make the business profitable, otherwise it's not a business. Inventory cost is a small part of the equation of running a successful business. If it were so outrageously priced, you would be naming the cheaper competition left and right.
