I was wondering if any of you guys had the same issue..
Just got my new 335 last week which comes with the premium sound package and all the bells and whistles. I have to say im in love with this car, but that aside there is one thing i dont like; When i have music playing, it all sounds neat and clean but there is a subtle thump noise coming from one of the subwoofers that is much louder when you close the door and hear from the outside. Could this be a defective sub? The low bases play strong but there is always this sound like if the sub was being overpowered by the amp but it doesnt sound like a blown speaker... I have the low sound setting set below the default and the volume at a normal level. Any thoughts? |

This is quite interesting, it may just be low quality woofers screaming out because the amp is too powerful, any ideas? |

HK here too. It's not the sub if the design is the same as the e9x then the sub is ported towards the side skirts and that is what rattles. There was no fix for it in the e9x's

Yes, same here. Actually I am a little bit disappointed by the Harmon. I am playing with the EQ settings but I can't access the SUB60 Hrz because the EQ starts with 100Hrz??!! I paid 1600 $ in switzerland for this system and this is ridiculous.
What I tried: But the overall Bass down a little and in EQ put the 100 hrz up a little. Perhaps it is just psychological but I think it is helping... I need further testing... |
