Since I bought the car, I've upgraded all of its incandescent lights to LEDs, as I knew that one day I was going to get the tail light smoked, and didn't want to compromise on the car's light output. Anyways, here is the end result! If anyone is holding off on this, do it! You won't regret it! Here are some photos of it now, will upload more later.

What bulbs did you use specifically? I want to install led turn and brake lights but can't figure out if they use the same bulb.

Do you know any other comparable turn signal bulbs that come in red? The Weisslicht look nice but they only come in amber and white.

I got them done at a local customization shop. The tail light was painted from the outside, but the way they did it is exclusive to them. It's completely different from other tail lights I've seen. They're on Facebook and Instagram, called "AutoShineSpa".

No film! I've tried using the film, but didn't really like it. Once the car is a bit dirty, the lights look disgusting, plus it has a certain olive colored shine to it with the lights off which I hated. This is paint on the outside! The finish is out of this world though! The method of painting them is exclusive to the customization shop I did it at! You need to see them in person to understand what I mean!

Good to know, I was just about to order film from Lamin-X but now I will hold on a bit and check if there is a shop that can paint it instead. Obviously that might not be easy to find, but at least I will check.
It does look stunning on the pictures for sure! Looks like a great finish.

It is! Best thing is, its as easily reversed as the film! That was the biggest selling point for me.
