Man does that "4" badge look out of place. Can't imagine what the ///M4 will look like being so used to ///M3
Overall, the proportions look better than the e9x. It definitely slimmed down and looks very streamline. I kind of like that elongated/stretched look compared to the arguably bulky looking e9x. Still unsure on how I feel about the new headlight design though. |

It's not a bad looking car but it's not my cup of tea. It is more muscular and masculine looking than the E9x generation but i feel the design is a little too overwrought. Too much going on, like the EVO.
The E9x was more sleek and elegant, and more bland i guess. I feel the new F3x generation is pretty good looking but they won't age as well as the E9x. And I can see why BMW is putting ///M badges on everything but they slowly and steadily losing their street cred. Give it another generation or 2 and it won't be ///Motorsport it'll just be ///Marketing + ///Money

I like it. BUT, I'm still in love with the look of the sedan.

It's quite nice. Very close to a Pearl White. But, for whatever ridiculous BMW reason, MW is not available on the Msport sedan, and likely the same for the 4 coupe. In fact, 7 of the 13 colors are not available on the Msport sedan. That's half of the colors. Good thing BMW is offering yet another "black", as if more variations of dark colors are needed. Head on there isn't a tremendous difference between the E90/92 Msport and the F30/F32 Msport in terms of what is plastic. Please point it out. As for the sedans, the F30 Msport is closer to the E90 Msport, head on. The rest of car looks better as F30 than E90. And the interior is greatly superior to the E90's. The early E90's didn't look good at all. The face lift did wonders for it's styling, and the coupes as well. Last edited by RPM90; 06-19-2013 at 11:15 PM.. |

Better looking wheels on the Msport sedan.
And the side skirts are nicer on the sedan as well. The coupe needs cooler side skirts. I'm actually not that bothered with the side vents. They don't connect with anything or any other shape on the car, but I'm starting not to hate them. They don't ruin it for me. Too much attention and negativity is being attributed to those vents, just as there is about the M badges. It's a marketing thing. Audi has been using "S line" on nearly everything, and yet anyone who knows what "S" means to Audi is not fooled into thinking it's really and "S4" or "S3" just cause it has "S line" logo's. Same for BMW. They are now using "M sport" on more cars. Those who know what a real "M" car is are not fooled. Plus, those who opt for the Msport option may actually want something to differentiate it. Nothing wrong with that. Should BMW have used "M sport" logo's instead of just "M"? Maybe BMW should not have the "sport line" and just offered the "Msport". That way it would be visually clear that an F30 with the body kit is the "sport" model. Too many "lines". At least they got rid of "modern" to lighten the load and confusion. Get ride of the "sport" line and it's even clearer. No body kit, standard 3 series. Body kit, Msport. Simple. Move all available interior trim option from "sport" line into Msport. Just an idea. "M sport" is marketing, and adds visually appealing cosmetics. It's simply cosmetic bits hinting at the top dogs, the real and actual "M" cars. I don't see how this dilutes or diminishes the actual "M" cars. What M car buyer would say, "Oh, well this Msport looks kinda sorta like it could be an M, and it has M logo's, so why bother getting the mechanically superior real M. After all, it's the logo's I care about!" Nope. Not gonna happen. |

As for the M badging; I’m completely ok with the concept. When I see M (or AMG) I instinctively think of the racing division of the brand. “M” didn't start with road cars at all, it started with race cars! However, if I were to buy a F32 M Sport, I’d remove the side badging (and paint the Bimmerang body color) for a cleaner look.
