440i xDrive GC / Tanzanite Blue / Golden Brown
Hi all,
Just finalised my order on 440i xDrive GC / Tanzanite Blue / Golden Brown with delivery (hopefuly) around end of August or beginning of September 2016. Coming from f10 MY13 520d in which I did 125.000 km and really liked it. However decided that I'd like to have a car that is smaller, more nimble and definitively with a petrol 6 cylinder engine (after having some opportunities to drive 335i f30 for few times). Couldn't wait any longer for new 5 series due to the end of current lease, but no regrets so far, as 5 series felt a little to big driving around city (although was a fantastic car on motorways and express roads). Anyway, I'm already impatient about delivery (so far away...) but here's a more detailed config, some options may be different here in Poland than in your territories: BMW 440i xDrive Gran Coupé Model M Sport package Tanzanite Blue Metallic. Individual Merino, Golden Brown M Brakes Adaptive M suspension. Comfort access Reverse and Surround View camera Tinted windows Mirrors package Heated front seats. Adaptive LED headlights Driver assistance package HiFi Harman Kardon Surround Sound Real Time Traffic Information 19" Spoke 442 M Orbit Grey wheels Sport seats Leather dashboard Merino Individual ConnectedDrive Advanced HUD Telephone connection package Looking for comments, especially from those who had a chance to drive 440i already (I guess it's available in coupe only so far and only in some European countries at this point). 10000 kilometers done. I love this car more and more every day.
It's night and day difference to drive it, compared to my old 520d. I got used to a little more cramped interior, but given the individual full leather package I feel like I've given up very little to get lower centre of gravity, xdrive (being a blessing in exacly zero celsius temperature holding for couple of weeks now here in Poland) and this magnificent, fantastic b58 engine and mppsk that never gets old Today I did 800kms from Warsaw to Katowice and back, all on express ways and motorways, meaning I've had a chance to enjoy smooth accelerations over and over again and still did 600kms on one tank, despite going over 200km/h several times (yup, we have it easier here with photo radars and cops, to some extent our higways are almost like autobahns in practice - almost no speed patrols and left lane being used for really high speeds). I've travelled with friends who dailydrive 911 carrera4 and lexus is250. All they had were compliments for mppsk exhaust notes and performance of x40i inline-6. Really good day |
