It's actually an improvement over the existing model. I don't love it, and I was a fan of the original G35. But this is an improvement, unlike the new IS.

ive had a number of infiniti autos and currently run an FX50S. all of them have been flawless. depending on how it drives and price point, it could be a great car.

i do like that its not as fussy as the IS350 but the front is a bit overdonw. of course, i dont particularly like the front of my FX either, but it does drive fantastic for a 4600+ lb car. cant have it all.

One thing is that ive never been a big fan a V6 engines. i love my V8 for smoothness and power and the inline-6 is bar far the best ive driven. My BMWk1600gt motorcycle was good enough with that inline-6 to get me to cross over and put an order in on a 335 after driving it.

in the end, i think it'll be a great car with lots of good tech and phone integration......still getting a 335xi M-sport though

probably performs pretty well, looks iffy. Maybe in person it looks good. I wonder about the interior tho. Japanese premium interiors tend to look quite busy.

Infiniti drivers always end up with leasing or buying a new BMW. lol

The front of the Infiniti makes me think of this...a kid getting his cheeks pushed together:

Looks pretty good. I wasn't really a fan of the styling of the current G37, but this looks much better in my opinion.

They also need to improve over the existing auto tranny (complete trash) and give the engine more torque at a lower RPM. I think it looks better than the old one though.

This will be aimed at the Lexus GS not the 3 series. How many posts do we need like this. GM released pics of the new 3 Series competitor the C7 Corvette. Lol

The cars looks fine and nothing like the hideous IS. The front end looks like the Jaguar front end which looks fine. It is going to come down to the engine & interior. That being said, I wouldn't be trading in my F30 for one.

The inside transmission dash is like a Copy of the F30, yet the dash is relatively the same as their G-Series.

I like where Mercedes, Audi, and BMW are going. I don't like what Lexus, Infiniti, or Acura are doing (acura started with all the ugliness).

After several days of looking at the Q50, and today watching a couple of videos I now take everything back that I said about the Q50. This is possibly one of the best looking cars in this segment. They hit a home run with this. You have to watch the videos to fully appreciate how everything flows together. The interior infotainment system is nothing like the CUE system, something I had feared. Good to see Nissan still has its mojo and they will sell many copies of this.

I own a G35 and have nothing but great things to say about it. The Q50 will likely sell well.

Having said that, I have an F30 on the way.
